ES IMPOSIBLE HACER LA EXCURSION AL PARQUE NACIONAL DE ULU TUMBURONG EN BRUNEI POR VUESTRA CUENTA, SIN EMBARGO, AL IGUAL QUE EN MANILA LA MAYORIA DE LOS FOREROS UTILIZARON LOS SERVICIOS DE FILIPINOTRAVEL TAL COMO RECOMENDÉ, AQUI EN BRUNEI TAMBIEN HAY UNA AGENCIA DE VIAJES QUE EN PRINCIPIO ME MERECE CONFIANZA.

YO NO LA CONTRATÉ PENSANDOME QUE LO PODRÍA HACER POR MI CUENTA Y LUEGO RESULTÓ MISION IMPOSIBLE.

YO,JUNTO CON EL RESTO DEL GRUPO COGIMOS UN TAXI EN EL PUERTO PARA TODO EL DÍA Y A PARTE DE VER LAS MEZQUITAS, EL MERCADO, EL PALACIO DEL SULTÁN(DESDE AFUERA,YA QUE POR DENTRO SÓLO SE PUEDE VISITAR UNA VEZ AL AÑO,CUANDO ES EL CUMPLEAÑOS DEL SULTÁN), COGIMOS UNA BARCA DESDE EL MISMO BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN,QUE NOS LLEVO RIO ARRIBA Y LLEGAMOS A VER VARIOS TIPOS DE MONOS ENTRE LA VEGETACIÓN DE LAS ORILLAS DEL RIO Y EN CONCRETO ESE MONO TAN TIPICO DE ALLÍ CON LA NARIZ CAIDA ROJA QUE AHORA NO ME ACUERDO COMO SE LLAMA, DE REGRESO SE PUEDEN VER LAS CASAS FLOTANTES.

We are two Spanish people and we will arrive to Bandar Seri Begawan by Costa Allegra Cruise the 13 december at 08.00AM and we will stay there until 06.00PM.

Thank you for your email.We can certainly help you with your visit on the 13th December. Personally, I would recommend our half day tour with lunch at the Royal Brunei Yacht Club.
I have attached the detailed Tour Description.
The additional items in the full day tour are not popular with most people.
For two people our per person price - with pickup and return to the Port jetty - is Bn$95 each.
If you have any friends on-board who'd like to accompany you, the per person price for three people is Bn$81 each, and for 4 to 8 people it is Bn$75 each.
We can start the tour at a time to suit your preference from the ship eg: 0900, after the initial rush of people departs.
We can also drop you at the city or other shopping/cafe areas so you can explore yourselves for an hour or two before returning to the ship.
If you or your friends are interested in something different that includes an immersion in Brunei's unique rainforest, we can also provide a tour that combines a visit to the BSB water village (to get an idea of the local culture etc) and then into the water taxi to visit the unique Ulu Temburong National Park. We have done this many times before and can have everyone back at the ship by about 5pm.

I have attached the detailed tour descriptions for our normal full day Ulu Temburong National Park tour, and the 1.5 hour Water Village tour.
We can combine these two programmes together at the time of year you expect to visit, because the Tembruong River water level is reliably high and the longboat travel is quite fast compared to normal.
We can provide pick-up from Muara Port about 0830 and return there about 1700

It is not possible to link the city tour and National Park tour on the same day.
It would be possible to combine a city tour and go to Temburong for the Temburong Lifestyle half day tour. I've attached those two tour description.

For payment, we have a bank account in the UK (UK pounds) and in the USA (US$) so you could make payment to those accounts. Unfortunately, we don't have a Euro bank account. For payment here in Brunei, we only take Brunei or Singapore notes - they have the same value and both can be used in banks, shops etc in both countries. If you need to change money we can take you to a money changer during the tour.

We can pick you up from Muara Port, at the jetty where your ship will berth, and bring you back to the same place.

Hola foreros!

Ya hemos vuelto!! con muchiiiisima pena porque además la mayoría de la tripulación desembarcó también con nosotros... quedaba el barco con la mitad de gente, porque iban a hacer unos 15 días de rutas para turistas chinos y al parecer a estos lo único que les va es el casino y poco más. Sin equipo de animación, sin trío mulero... vamos, que los chinos estos deben de ser de lo más divertido!

Nos fue todo muy bien, la gente y la tripulación era maravillosa, os iré contando estos días, cuando me recupere.

En cuanto pueda os sigo contando Vietnam y Honk Kong. Mientras tanto deciros que si habeis visto la cámara web del Allegra, este fin de semana estaba atracado en la terminal de cruceros de Honk Kong, y no en la fea terminal de carga. Os aseguro que fueron varias las fuentes que nos hablaron del cambio de ubicación permanente, aunque el Allegra está ahora haciendo mimicruceros para orientales, ya veremos cuando vuelvan los occidentales.

Sigo con el relato.
En Ho Chi Ming mi mujer tenía bien claro que había que pasar el mayor tiempo posible en el marcado de las imitaciones, por lo que nos separamos del grupo. Los 9 cogieron una excursión con taxi que ya contó Trotamundos. Nosotros decidimos ir andando, ya que los taxistas del puerto no te querían llevar si no contratabas excursión. Andando son 10-15 minutos, depende de vuestra habilidad para cruzar por el mar de motos. La verdad es que las primeras 10 veces que cruzas, acojona. Luego decides cruzar al lado de un nativo y ya no hay problema. De camino al mercado hay cajeros, pero a veces hay problemas de línea (tanto en cajeros como en tpv en comercios). En el propio mercado tenéis un cajero. Una vez visto el tamaño del mercado cogimos un taxi que nos llevó hasta Notre Dame por menos de 3 €.

Vimos los alrededores y volvimos andando al mercado 15-20 minutos.
El mercado es enorme, pero el género es muy repetitivo, así que cuando veáis algo que os guste y que sea de buena calidad, no busquéis más. Si compráis varias cosas en el mismo puesto y pagáis en Dongs, conseguiréis mejores precios. Para que os hagáis una idea un polo de una marca de caballos menos de 3 €. La ropa hay que probarla siempre dos polos de la talla XL normalmente no son iguales de tamaño (aunque doblado lo parezca) Las maletas también son muy baratas, merece la pena llevar maletas viejas y cambiarlas. Los relojes todos expuestos, aunque te sacaban el mismo reloj de 3 ó 4 calidades diferentes, si no tienes mucha idea es fácil que te engañen. Lo que no merece la pena son los bolsos, ya que los modelos son anticuados y la calidad es bastante mala.
Todo el mundo ha recomendado comprar aquí y no esperar a Honk Kong, nosotros, después de cinco días recorriendo los mercados, os podemos decir que en Honk Kong hay cosas de bastante más calidad, pero está todo escondido y pierdes bastante tiempo entre encontrarlo y el regateo.
Por otros 2 € volvimos al barco en taxi y a relajarnos al jacuzzi después de comer algo.


La despedida de la ciudad

En Danang ya os contó Trotamundos que fuimos a Hoi An, cogimos los taxis fuera del puerto como alguien había sugerido, pero nos pareció que también ahí hay bastante mafia, había un cabecilla que se agarró un gran rebote, porque negociamos con dos taxistas sin su supervisión. La calidad de las imitaciones en Hoi An, es bastante peor que en Saigón y los modelos bastantes atrasados. Las corbatas si que tenían buena calidad y muy baratas, menos de 1 €. Comimos en el restaurante Mango Rums, que está cruzando el puente japonés, seguís pegados al río y donde hace la curva, os metéis por la primera calle paralela al río. De verdad que merece la pena. No hay mucho más que comentar de esta escala, salvo que la carretera entre Danang y Hoi An, nos dio la sensación de que en unos años será como la Rivera Maya, ojala nos equivoquemos.

El primer plato y el bananarama.

Sanya. Aquí para nosotros el visado era obligatorio, te lo cobraban igual bajaras o no. Nosotros tuvimos que coger el transfer, porque sino nos hacían un visado individual y no nos dejaban bajar hasta que bajaran todas las excursiones. Donde te deja el transfer, hay un montón de taxistas que te enseñan fotos de las excursiones de Costa, se puede hacer la del parque budista y la de las termas. Nuestra primera opción era ir a la playa, pero el día estaba nublado, así que decidimos intentar ir a las termas. Al final entre que no había forma de entenderse con los chinos (no hablan inglés), que nuestro grupo estaba un poco disperso, y que donde te deja el transfer tenía mejor pinta de lo que nos esperábamos, pues decidimos quedarnos, y fue un error porque lo único que hicimos fue dar vueltas a la especie de centro comercial donde no encontramos nada interesante. Hubo gente que consiguió comprar i-phone por 125 €.
